Another Beginners' Course is to be held at Baldragon Academy held on the following dates:
At Baldragon Academy all classes will be held on a Friday afternoon from 3.00pm to 5.00pm:
Friday 23rd August, 30th August, 6th September, 13th September and 20th September.
The course costs £40, this includes 1 year's membership of our association.

NPA 5 Certificate: We now offer the opportunity to all pupils, and to all adults, that are associated with BBA to gain NPA 5 certification. Weekly sessions will start on 14th November 2023 between 2pm & 4pm at Baldragon academy. You will need to register with SQA in advance. Please contact our secretary for further details if you are interested.

Food & Farming Event at the Angus Showground 07th June 2024
This event hosted 104 pupils from primary schools at Maisondieu, Andover, Edzell and Stacathro. BBA were very pleased to take part.

For those that have an interest in honeybees, or are interested in keeping honeybees, and becoming a 'beekeeper' you are able to register for a beginners' course to 'understand what it's all about'. Face to face classroom and practical sessions are available with the Baldragon Beekeeping Association again this year.
Our specific aim, as an association, is to reach out to schools where teachers and pupils have an interest, but we also welcome everyone in an effort to promote this fascinating subject.
Courses are to be held at Baldragon Academy on the following dates:

Apiary Visits: The first Apiary Visit for the class of 2024 will be held at Baldragon Acadamy on Friday 22nd March starting at 3pm. Further visits to be confirmed.
